Abstract

In this article I tell about my experience of working one year in a rural area in Angola, in a mother-child health project with the Non-Governmental Organization Médecins du Monde. I describe, in a personal manner, some of the project.s interventions as well as some of the results that were achieced. Finally, I address some questions and contradictions in relation to this project, in more general terms, the work in development assistance in Sub-Saharan Africa
