El Lancet Countdown: Seguimiento del Progreso en la Salud y el Cambio Climático es una colaboración internacional multidisciplinaria que tiene como objetivo monitorear la relación entre la salud pública y el cambio climático. Reúne a 35 instituciones académicas y agencias de las Naciones Unidas de todos los continentes, aprovechando la experiencia de climatólogos, ingenieros, economistas, politólogos, profesionales de la salud pública y médicos. Cada año, Lancet Countdown publica una evaluación anual del estado del cambio climático y la salud humana, con el objetivo de brindarles a los tomadores de decisiones acceso a pautas de políticas basadas en evidencia de alta calidad. Así como una recomendación de política en países seleccionados sobre el impacto del cambio climático a nivel local. Esta traducción trata de la recomendación política brasileña.
