The COVID-19 pandemic has made it possible to analyze systemic crises in different aspects of social life. The crisis of Biomedical Rationality seems to be reiterated, on one hand, by the dominant statistical narrative through the accounting of cases and everyday deaths. On the other hand, due to the scarcity, so far, of scientific evidence about diagnostic tests and drug treatments for the new disease. The profusion of clinical protocols and the need to deal with such uncertainty when meeting with suffering patients are elements that demand a return to a fundamental question, especially for Family Medicine: how to exercise Health Care in a context of ruptures of bonds of trust between patients and physicians?
